Heh, I actually voice one of the models in this game šŸ™‚ I was a highly involved member of this game community for a couple years. I’m still friends with the lead developer and talk to him fairly often. This game is based on the CRX engine, which is several generations of evolution from its original Quake 2 engine. The dev pretty much does everything himself, though he does get help from the community from time to time. If you’re really interested in the game, go chat in the IRC channel that I created 5 years ago that’s still going strong at #alienarena on EFnet IRC šŸ™‚

I always love to see our little game get promoted in college settings, thank you for the blogspot!

The channel actually moved to #alienarena @ irc.alienarena.org, which is an IRC network that we run ourselves. If anyone has any questions you can sign up at the forums at http://red.planetarena.org or ask in the IRC channel.
