Internet Explorer has stopped working

Although I use Chrome, I am often asked how to fix the problem that Internet Explorer has stopped working.  (Microsoft may be planning to replace IE in the upcoming Windows 10 OS)

Here’s what to do –

Open the Control Panel
Click Internet Options
Click the Advanced Tab
Click on the Reset Button
Check Delete Personal Settings
Click Reset
Click Restore Advanced Settings

Another Solution-
Intel Video?  Reinstall
NVIDIA Graphics? Disable the Stereoscopic 3D
You can also go to the Advanced tab of the Internet Options (above) and Uncheck Use Software Rendering instead of GPU rendering under Accelerated graphics
More Solutions-
Uninstall Toolbars
Disable Add-ons from IE
Reinstall Java, Silverlight and FlashPlayer (make sure you go to the correct sites to download these
Go to the Security Tab of the Internet Options and reset the Security Zones

Use Microsoft Fix-its –
