Mickey sent over a cool link to free software for advanced networking techs. Scriptlogic which is now Quest Software offers several free tools for networking. I’ll try to feature these this week. For now, here’s a quick look at sl360.
So what is sl360?
The free network monitoring and network management tool suite from ScriptLogic. Consolidate dozens of network monitoring tools into a single interface.

Each one of these tools have a ton of settings to manage your network. My home router has DD-WRT and after SNMP is enabled, you can monitor the routers throughput and functionality with the SNMP management widget. You can also easily enable SNMP under your Program and Features in Windows and monitor a computer’s network card
There are small ads on the interface. Although these ads are on the interface, the software appears to be malware free and you will have to look for confirmation emails in your spam. Great Tools.
