  1. Enter your home router as the first DNS and select a secondary DNS such as Google.


2.  Open a command prompt as an administrator and type ipconfig /all to make sure your DNS servers are listed.


3.  Perform a NSLookup of a website


4.  Perform an NSLookup on a node in your network (computer name)


5. Display your DNS and register your DNS (below)
