How to reset all Local Group Policy settings

You have changed the Group Policy (local, not in a domain) and are not sure exactly what changed – You can undo all of the changes by doing the following.

At the command prompt (as Administrator), type the following –

RD /S /Q “%WinDir%\System32\GroupPolicyUsers”

RD /S /Q “%WinDir%\System32\GroupPolicy”

gpupdate /force
