Remove default Apps with PowerShell – Windows 10

Want to remove some of the default apps in Windows 10?  You could take the time to right click the app and uninstall.   You can also copy the script below and paste into PowerShell.

Note:  Remove any line for apps you want to keep.

Get-AppxPackage *3dbuilder* | Remove-AppxPackage
Get-AppxPackage *windowsalarms* | Remove-AppxPackage
Get-AppxPackage *windowscalculator* | Remove-AppxPackage
Get-AppxPackage *windowscommunicationsapps* | Remove-AppxPackage
Get-AppxPackage *windowscamera* | Remove-AppxPackage
Get-AppxPackage *officehub* | Remove-AppxPackage
Get-AppxPackage *skypeapp* | Remove-AppxPackage

1 Removing Apps

To reinstall the apps, open PowerShell and paste the following as one line-

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
