If you have worked on computers for anytime at all, you’ll run into one that you cannot find drivers on the manufacturer’s site or the OEM site. Drivers have always been a headache for IT Professionals. This is one of the reasons tablets have become so popular. If your tablet’s software becomes corrupt or it begins to have any trouble, it can be restored.
Here’s two sites we’ve used to find hard to find drivers.
Ma-Config.com runs a small program and uploads your configuration. This in turn is compared to a database of drivers. Once your configuration is compared, the My Drivers tab turns green allowing you to see any updated drivers or drivers that aren’t installed. Ma-Config.com then gives you a link for the driver.
Another site for hard to find and obsolete drivers is www.nodevice.com. NoDevice.com also has DLLs, manuals and more.
