Stop error in Windows 7 after you install security update 2823324

If you receive a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death)  after installing update kb2823324,  remove the update before rebooting.

You can remove the update by going to a command prompt and typing (as an admin):

wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:2823324 /quiet /norestart

If you have rebooted your computer, press F8, select repair your computer and restore your computer to an earlier date.  (This will remove the update).

You can also reboot, press F8, select repair your computer, go to a command prompt and type:

dism /image:C:\ /cleanup-image /revertpendingactions
