.Net Installation Problems?

There are a ton of resources found on Microsoft’s .net updates and installation.  What is the best way to check to see if it installed correctly?   Use the .NET Framwork Setup Verification Tool   – Link

.NET Framework is used in many programs (the programming of third party and Windows based programs and add-ons)

.NET won’t install?

If the .NET Framework fails to install, there is a possiblity that the msxml is not properly registered.  Download the fix here

Also try registering msxml3.dll

Go to a command prompt and type

regsvr32 msxml3.dll

.NET Cleanup Tool

If you are having update problems related to this download this tool.

Need the Full Installations of these programs?

like carrying the full versions of much needed software around with me when doing repairs.  Having a portable drive with the full versions of Java, Flash, Windows XP XP3,  Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 and the DotNet Family makes repairs easier.   I recently helped someone who needed DotNet 3.5 (The download is huge!) Here are the links for the DotNet’s (This also helps when on a slower internet connections).

.NET Framework 4.0

.NET Framework 3.5

.NET Framework 3.5 –Service Pack 1

.NET Framework 3.0

.NET Framework 2.0

Thanks Mick!
