Testing Your Network Speed

LAN Speed Test v2.0 is an excellent program to measure the speed of your network.  Just because your network is 100 mbps or 1000 mbps (wired) or 54mbps (802.11g) or 300 -600 mbps (802.11n) wireless doesn’t mean you are transferring that fast.   There are several factors involved with networking.   The amount of network traffic, the network cards, the computers and the drivers being used.
