Fixing a Computer with A and W Root Beer
Not only do I like A & W Root Beer, we just had a Dell XPS 200 that would power down from heat. (The heatsink would not press against the processor) We used a 1.5″ x 1.5″ piece of aluminum, some zinc oxide and wa-la back in business. The piece of aluminum filled the gap between the heatsink and the processor.
Hey, this is NOT the proper way to fix this, you should use a new heat sink…and paste
